DSC examinations from April 4

Apr 02, 2004: Hyderabad: The Commissioner and Director of School Education, Manmohan Singh, has notified the District Selection Committee 2003 examination to be held all over the State from April 4 to 6. For 16,934 posts, including special grade teachers and school assistants, the Government had received 2,15,219 applications. Collectors and District Magistrates are the overall in-charges of the conduct of the examination and 1096 examination centers were set up in 23 districts. To prevent impersonation, computerized lists of all candidates with similar names and date of births were taken out and supplied to the district education officers to keep a close watch. Section 144 would be imposed near the examination centers and all Photostat copy centers will also be closed. Hall ticket photos were printed instead of being pasted to prevent any change. After the examination, the key would be put on the Internet – www.aponline.gov.in and comments and suggestions have been invited. Such suggestions would be examined by experts and the final key would be arrived to be published before valuation. Marks obtained by all the candidates would be published and not just those selected.
